Where can you cover?
Within about a 15 mile radius of the Forest of Dean. If in doubt, ask!
What kind of venue can you cater in?
We can cater anything from our own gazebo in your back garden to barns, yurts, marquees, village halls, breweries and even river banks!
If you’re unsure, contact us and we can discuss it.
Can you cater for veggies and vegans?
Yes, no problem! In fact many meat-eaters have not even noticed the lack of meat in their Infamous Catering vegetarian meal, finding it delicious and satisfying.
“I’m not normally vegetarian but this experience has certainly broadened my horizons… each course was delicious.” – Lynn Williams
What about dietary requirements?
We’re happy to plan menus around specific dietary requirements and will make every effort to accommodate them.
However, the kitchen is regularly used for nuts, flour and other allergens so we are unable to guarantee no cross-contamination. We apologise, but this means we are unable to cater for people with severe allergic reactions.
What types of service do you do?
Our preferred style of service is a cafeteria style. This means you can come to collect your food, interact with the chef, get as much or as little of what you fancy, and maybe even come back for seconds.
We can also do waiting service, or stand-up hand-held street food such as burgers.
Do you have set menus?
Because we plan all of our menus individually and around the seasons, we would prefer to meet with you to get an idea of your tastes, ideas, budget and any possible restraints due to the venue / location… to create a unique experience just for you. If you’d like some inspiration, why not check out our gallery page for some examples of what we can do.
How can I try your food before booking?
Come along to one of our supper clubs! You will need to book in advance; find out more on our events page. If you’d like to come and have a chat with me about your ideas or requirements once you’ve enjoyed an incognito meal, feel free to come and say hello!
Do you cater for children?
Yes. Generally we like to create an inclusive menu that the kids will be excited about being a part of, however we can add on less challenging dishes to suit younger or less adventurous palates.
What are you doing to be eco-friendly?
We are currently developing a new kitchen which will use state-of-the-art low-energy induction and smart cooking technologies.
We avoid disposable plastic where possible.
We favour 100% pressed palm leaf plates and bamboo cutlery, which are compostable.
By focusing on British, and where possible local and in-season ingredients, we can ensure minimum in food miles, as well as products at their very best.
How do your prices work?
We pride ourselves on giving exceptional value. Because all our menus are individual, advertising a pricing structure is complex.
Contact us to chat it through, and we’re sure you’ll be pleasantly surprised.
Any other questions?
